Developed with the assistance of local Boy Scout Troops, this 1-mile loop trail takes hikers through pine flatwoods and maritime and xeric hammocks. There are benches and bridges along the path.
Weedon Island Preserve Cultural and Natural History Center is located at 1800 Weedon Drive NE in St. Petersburg. From Gandy Boulevard (US92/SR600) turn south on San Martin Boulevard and travel approximately one mile to Weedon Drive NE and turn east. Parking for the Center is available at the third left after passing through the Preserve's main gate.
